Golf Instruction
Jerry Williams, PGA General Manager at Oak Ridge Country Club, is a native of Indianapolis, Indiana. After a successful four-year varsity golf career at University of Indianapolis where he is a University Hall of Fame member, Jerry entered the PGA. His employment has included jobs as Assistant Golf Professional at Pebble Brook GC (Noblesville, IN) and Crooked Stick (Carmel, IN). He has served as Tournament Director at Lost Tree Club (North Palm Beach, FL).
Jerry comes to ORCC from his General Manager position at two clubs in central Illinois: Ironhorse GC in Tuscola and Canyata GC in Marshall. Jerry was very instrumental infringing the 2007Illinois State Amateur Championship to Ironhorse GC and was the driving force behind the national accolades that have been earned by Canyata GC. Those awards include: #2 Best New Private Club in 2006, #41 in America's Greatest 100 list in 2009; and #39 on America's Greatest 100 list in 2011, according to Golf Digest magazine. Jerry brings nearly 20 years of experience to ORCC as an accomplished player, teacher and golf professional.
Jerry is married to Lisa (Tilley), who is a 1992 graduate of Oak Ridge High School, and they have a daughter (Maggie) that was born in 2009. As a family they are very excited to be a part of the Oak Ridge community and look forward to a long and successful career at ORCC.
