Course Information
ORCC has a championship golf course. It was nominated for Golf Digest's Best New Private Club Course for 1996. The course was originally built in 1947 (read the history of ORCC) and was redesigned in 1995-96 by Robert Cupp Design, Inc. The golf course offers 4 sets of tees, allowing a challenging round of golf to all levels of golers. The tees are:
- Red - 5136 yards, 69.4/117
- Gold - 5940 yards, 68.7/123
- White - 6451 yards, 71.1/126
- Blue - 6836 yards, 73.1/128

Tee Times during Eastern Standard Time
Begin at 8:30am on weekends and holidays, 9am on weekdays
Tee Times during Daylight Saving Time
Begin at Begin at 7:30am on Saturdays and 8:00am on weekdays
- Tee times are arranged through the Pro Shop (865-483-1031) in person or by phone, beginning seven days in advance.
- Several groups are granted reserved times in order to accommodate group play.
- The Pro Shop staff is always happy to place members who do not have an assigned tee time.
Walking is encouraged. Privately owned cars incur a monthly trail fee. A limited number of parking spaces in the cart barn are available to private car owners at nominal cost.
Cart Fees apply when individuals rent a club cart or ride as a passenger in a private cart.

Golf Lessons and Clinics
Golf lessons are available by appointment. Clinics for Ladies are held in April. Open clinics are held in May. Clinics for Juniors are held weekly for eight weeks in June and July.

Practice Range
The practice range and short-game practice areas open at 8am each day except Monday and normally close about one hour before dark. Somewhat shorter hours may apply during the off-season or during inclement weather.
Events
A variety of golfing and racquet events are offered each year, some for social reasons and some for competition. Mixed events are a popular way to make and maintain friendships. Upcoming events are cited in the monthly club newsletter and are listed on the large calendar board adjacent to the Pro Shop. Signup sheets are posted in the Pro Shop.
